Terms- Payment and Warranty
Payment terms
We accept all forms of common payment:
Cash
Paypal
All major credit or debit cards with chip and pin
BACS
Cheques will only be accepted with a valid cheque guarantee card, and must clear before repaired item is returned.
All repairs are to be settled 100% before being returned to customer. Items unpaid will be retained in the workshop for a period of 2 months before becoming automatic ownership of CB SVL and sold to cover cost of the repair.
Where a customer has requested a repair estimate for works and has declined to pursue with the repair a charge of £25 will be subjected to each item declined for an ‘inspection fee’. Additionally equipment found to be working on arrival but reported as being faulty to the workshop will be charged at £25. Any item sent for repair reported as having an intermittent fault, however when tested we cannot find a fault at that time of inspection we reserve the right to charge an inspection fee of £25. All inspection only based services are excluded from any form of warranty.
Where repairs are discovered to cost at total less than £70 the repair will automatically commence unless advised otherwise at point of receipt of broken item

Warranty
All our repairs are covered by a 2 month warranty against the original fault reported and repaired, unless we charge an inspection fee only where an item has been found to be intermittent but when tested appears ok or brought in and no fault identified whereby no warranty will be given.
Associate faults causing the same effect problem but with different internal problems are excluded from warranty and will be treated as a new repair.
Faults resulting as a result of mis-use, deliberate breaking, or not using the equipment as to how it was intended to work or following the manufactures working limits and operating is also excluded under warranty.
All work and faults falling under warranty conditions will be repaired at our discretion, our word is final.
A full receipt will be supplied for each repair along with a repair report filled in from the workshop
A full warranty sheet will be explained to you and ask for you to sign and agree to our terms of service. A sample may be downloaded here, signed and brought with you when you arrange an repair.
